My names Randy and I just recently relocated back to FL (Mount Dora) from TN (Memphis). I'm currently a Senior Data Architect for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, although much of my work looks that of a data engineer.

St. Jude is an Active Databricks shop that utilized the platform for central analytics and my team was responsible for our full Synapse EDW migration to Databricks and building out the platform (architecture, models, and ci/cd) for internal partners to come in and adopt and extend our data models as well as implement data products and assets.

I love in person meetups and learning from others and would love to hear what experiences are in this group and if any future meetups are planned?

Thanks for reaching out!

We just had our Orlando Databricks User Group meeting a couple of weeks ago, and we’ll be posting the recording shortly. It was a virtual meeting, but we’re currently looking at locations for our next in-person meetup in Orlando.
