Thanks to everyone who joined our latest Genie Community Office Hours on Wednesday. If you have not already please complete the survey so we can improve future Office Hours sessions: https://surveys.training.databricks.com/jfe/form/SV_dpeQO3WHIZ4MkUC
We had a great discussion on what is new across Genie and where the community is heading next. A few highlights from the session:
The Genie community continues to grow, with more than 1,300 members since launch
Office Hours will continue as a recurring series, with plans to increase frequency starting in September
We shared product updates across Genie Ontology, GenieOne, App Builder, and the new free usage SKU
We also covered upcoming training opportunities and funded cohorts planned for later this year
Some of the topics that generated the most interest included:
how to build a strong foundation for Genie with metric views, glossary definitions, and domains
how GenieOne brings together natural language access, external sources, and collaboration
how teams can use App Builder and ZeroOps workflows to move faster with the right controls in place
practical questions around REST API usage, supervisor-agent patterns, metadata preservation, and standardizing business terms
One important terminology update from the session: Genie Space is now called Genie Agents.
