Integrating New Members - Creating a Welcoming and Productive Environment

Great initiative! Based on my experience in other tech communities, the practices that truly work are few but concrete.

First, a structured introduction thread. Not just "who you are", but also "what you are looking for" and "what you can offer". This breaks the ice and creates useful connections right away.

Second, a pinned mini-glossary or FAQ for newcomers to Databricks. People coming from pure Spark/Hadoop environments or different clouds (Azure vs AWS vs GCP) have very different starting points. Lowering that initial gap reduces the barrier to participation.

Third, periodic challenges or real-world use cases shared with the group. A community comes alive when there is a concrete problem to solve together, not just theory.
