We're looking for speakers! Whether you're a seasoned presenter or new to sharing your insights with the community, we'd love to hear your ideas for a talk at our upcoming meetups - including our September event (targeting Wednesday Sept 30th).
What we're looking for:
Name: Introduce yourself and your experience with Databricks.
Topic & Title: What would you like to present about? Give us a catchy title that captures the essence of your talk.
Description: Provide a brief overview of what your presentation will cover. What key points and insights do you wish to share with the community?
Previous Experience: Have you previously presented at user groups or conferences? Share your experience with us!
This is a fantastic opportunity to share your knowledge, learn from others, and make meaningful connections. Let's create a vibrant community event together!
Join the conversation: We encourage everyone to share their thoughts, suggest topics, and offer feedback on the types of presentations they find most valuable
Presentation guidance
First several events should focus on foundational topics, and allow for a direct tie-in to business value
Target audience - varied, including technical & business attendees
Duration - aim for 30-40 mins (no longer). We will ensure an engaging and interactive session, allowing for lots of Q&A on your topic. We will also have before and after networking opportunities, which we will reserve plenty of time for.
This is NOT an opportunity for a sales pitch - doing so will black-ball you from presentation opportunities in the future. The focus is to be on educating and raising the skill and capability of others in the community.
