Topics:

  • The Federal Science DataHub (FSDH) is a Shared Services Canada (SSC) initiative that provides a unified platform for Government of Canada (GC) scientists, researchers, and users across science-based departments and agencies to collaborate on scientific challenges.
This secure, cloud-based enterprise data solution transforms the way GC science community stores, analyzes, and shares data. The session will feature a live demonstration illustrating how the platform enhances data discovery, accessibility, and use across federal science organizations. This will serve as the foundation for a broader discussion on modern data and AI platforms within the public sector.
Apption will outline the development approach for the FSDH and explain why Databricks is well-suited for public sector and regulated environments. The discussion will highlight key considerations such as data governance, secure data sharing, and scaling analytics and AI capabilities from proof-of-concept to full production.

  • Genie. Imagine if every analyst, case officer, and program lead could ask a plain‑language question and get a trustworthy, governed answer in seconds—no SQL, no dashboard hunting. That’s Genie: conversational analytics that democratizes your data.

Come learn about new features and what Genie can do for your organization's data maturity.
