Join the Lagos Databricks User Group (LDUG) for a practical, beginner-friendly session where we’ll walk through Databricks step by step and build a project together.

This session is designed to go beyond an introduction to the platform. We’ll explore the Databricks workspace, understand the key components we need for our project, and work through the implementation together from start to finish.

Whether you’re an aspiring Data Analyst, Data Engineer, student, or simply getting started with Databricks, this is an opportunity to learn by doing and gain practical experience with the platform.

Planned Agenda

Databricks Walkthrough: Get familiar with the Databricks workspace and the tools we’ll use during the session.

Project Introduction: Understand the project, the problem we’re solving, the dataset, and what we’ll build.

Hands-On Project: Follow along step by step as we build the project together in Databricks.

Wrap-Up & Q&A: Review what we’ve built, discuss key takeaways, and answer questions from participants.
