Welcome to the Databricks User Group Düsseldorf / Rheinland! 🚀

We're the local home for data engineers, ML/AI practitioners, platform architects, and data leaders across Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn, and the wider Rhineland region who are building and running real systems on Databricks.

This isn't a vendor pitch series. It's a practitioner-first community where we get into what actually works (and what breaks) when you take Databricks from proof-of-concept to production: Unity Catalog governance at scale, Delta Lake performance tuning, agentic AI on the Lakehouse, ML/AIOps that survives contact with reality, and the architecture decisions that only make sense once you've lived with them for a year.

What you can expect:

• Quarterly in-person meetups across the Rheinland (Düsseldorf, Cologne, and beyond) with real talks from real practitioners — no fluff, no sales decks

• A mix of deep technical sessions and higher-level architecture/strategy discussions, so there's something whether you're hands-on-keyboard or leading a data platform team
