Welcome to the Databricks Accenture Avanade Detroit SouthEast Michigan User Group.

This chapter brings together data engineers, architects, analytics professionals, AI practitioners, business intelligence leaders, and Databricks enthusiasts across Detroit, Southeast Michigan, Accenture, Avanade, and the broader local data community.

Our goal is to create a practical community for learning, networking, and sharing real-world implementation patterns on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Members can expect sessions on Azure Databricks, lakehouse architecture, Unity Catalog, data engineering, Delta Lake, AI/BI Genie, Mosaic AI, Lakebase, Agent Bricks, data governance, machine learning, generative AI, and enterprise analytics.

We plan to host meetups at least once per quarter, with a mix of technical talks, demos, customer-inspired use cases, certification discussions, community networking, and open Q&A. Whether you are new to Databricks or already building production data and AI solutions, this group is a place to learn, share, and connect.
