Auckland Databricks User Group

Kia ora and welcome to the Auckland Databricks User Group, the Tāmaki Makaurau chapter
of the New Zealand Databricks community.

We're data engineers, analysts, scientists and architects who work with Databricks, or
who are simply curious about it. If you're deep in production pipelines, you'll find
people here solving the same problems. If you've never opened a notebook and just want to
see what the fuss is about, you're equally welcome. Every experience level is genuinely
in scope.

Auckland is one of four chapters in a quarterly series running across Auckland,
Christchurch, Wellington and Dunedin. Joining here plugs you into the wider New Zealand
community, so you can follow what the other cities are doing too.

A typical evening: a couple of short talks from people in the local community about what
they've actually built, a live demo of something new on the platform, and plenty of open
floor for questions. Food and drinks are usually involved.

One promise: this isn't a sales pitch. It's practitioners comparing notes. Bring your
questions, your war stories, and the thing that took you three days to debug.
